The goal was to design and develop a modern, user-friendly website and an integrated alumni management system for the Union Christian Public School. The project aimed to foster ongoing engagement, streamline alumni data management, and provide an interactive platform for alumni networking, events, and fundraising.
The website was built with a focus on intuitive navigation, attractive layout, and responsive design to ensure accessibility on desktop and mobile devices. Key design principles included clear calls to action, consistent branding aligned with UCPS's identity, and prioritising vital content. The site incorporated multimedia features such as photo galleries to celebrate alumni achievements and keep the community informed.
Technically, the site was developed on a scalable CMS platform to enable non-technical staff to easily update and manage content. Security was a paramount consideration with SSL encryption, secure user authentication, and data privacy best practices implemented. The design also integrated social media links and sharing to amplify engagement and connectivity.
This approach aligns with market best practices for successful alumni platforms, balancing technical robustness, user engagement, and ease of administration.
