Page 3 Academy, in association with L’Oreal Arth, is a pioneering institution headquartered in Coimbatore, South India, which offers certification courses in hair styling, skincare and makeup. It is a one of a kind niche institute that brings the best professionals from the world over to train budding artistes and entrepreneurs who aspire towards the beauty business.

The people

The academy is run by experienced entrepreneurs with more than a decade of globe-trotting experience in the beauty industry. Having dabbled in a wide range of industries and businesses from farming to banking, passion drove these young dreamers to settle for the beauty and wellness industry with determination. The lack of quality training facilities and certification for growing aspirants in this industry was noticed and Page 3 Academy was born. Alliances were forged with the best in the beauty business and L”Oreal Arth Academy came on board to certify successful candidates.

The Challenges

Being the first of its kind in South India, Page 3 Academy and the website faced many challenges including garnering enough hits from the right clientele and improving visibility. Another challenge was to properly represent the course content. Ensuring that prospective students understood the value of the certification and courses offered. Showcasing the variety of courses offered in the right place at the right time. Introducing the beauty business as a career option to students as this does not fall into the “traditional” range of “professions” most sought after like doctor, engineer, lawyer.

How we took it forward

Our clear digital execution road map which seamlessly plugged into the brand engagement strategy to drive brand mindshare and supported by our dynamic and responsive solutions to these challenges included innovative and target audience oriented through Search Engine Optimization, SocialMedia Campaigns and Google Ads campaign spread over six months. We also backed up these campaigns with EDMs.
