The Challenges

  • Designed a content management workflow to ensure separate but complementary academic, event, and news coverage for gsmatric and gsicse.
  • Managed careful backup of old content, mainly historical archives and photo galleries, using structured import tools.
  • Tested all pages for accessibility issues and published an accessibility statement to ensure compliance.

How we took it forward

Identified areas of duplication, outdated information, and layout inconsistencies between gsmatric and gsicse school.

Created wireframes for a modern, mobile-first design and used consistent branding, colours, and imagery reflecting the Good Shepherd legacy, with modular layouts for easy updates.

Developed a unified navigation system with clear separation for gsmatric and gsicse content, ensuring easy switching and logical menu grouping. Prioritised admissions, academic programs, events, and contact info on both subdomains, including links to common parent resources.

This case study highlights how a strategic website revamp, with attention to UX, accessibility, and planning, delivered a unified digital home for Good Shepherd Schools.
