About

Europe Odyssey was founded in 2003 and has since focused on delivering crafted, story-driven tours in Rome, the Vatican and other European destinations, targeting individuals, couples, families and small groups seeking depth rather than generic sightseeing. The brand promises to “help you discover the real Europe” through knowledgeable, personable guides and highly tailored itineraries.

The Challenges

Europe Odyssey approached us with the following key objectives.

  • Improve how their unique value (expert, storytelling guides and custom itineraries) is communicated online to differentiate from commodity tour operators.
  • Surface and structure their extensive review evidence (“excellent” rating from hundreds of travellers, with detailed stories) into persuasive, conversion-oriented content.
  • Reassure high-intent travellers (families, older travellers, mobility-challenged guests, and solo travellers) that logistics, access and comfort are taken care of.
  • Support expansion from a Rome/Vatican focus to broader European itineraries while maintaining a boutique, high-touch brand feel.
  • Prospects often could not clearly see how tours were tailored to different needs (mobility, age, special interests), even though the guides were already doing this in practice.
  • The story of the founding team and long-term experience (since 2003) was underplayed relative to competitors in the same market.

How we took it forward

  • Separates key tour types (Vatican, Ancient Rome, Rome city, Holy Churches, multi-day Italy, Europe-wide itineraries) with clear overviews and CTAs.
  • Brought the “About Us” story (founded 2003, Rome roots, expansion to wider Europe) into a more prominent, trust-building location.
  • Integrates real review snippets tied to specific tours and personas (families with teens, solo travellers, wheelchair users, mobility-challenged parents, faith travellers, etc.).
  • Adapting the pace for mobility-challenged guests, recommending local restaurants and gelaterias, and assisting with off-the-itinerary experiences.
  • Multi-day narratives (e.g., 4–5-day Roman holiday itineraries including the Colosseum, Forum, Vatican, galleries, walking tours, and day trips such as Villa d’Este).
  • Ensured consistency between the main site’s messaging and profiles on key platforms such as TripAdvisor and Third-party booking platforms.
